Momentum Multiply is a rewards programme with a difference. In a country where medical aid is an expensive necessity that not everyone can afford, we wanted to actively help South Africans live longer, feel more alive, and ultimately pay less on medical aid and insurance.

We built a web application that gamifies lifestyles, and accurately tracks client’s physical activity through wearable devices and phone apps, and rewarding them where it matters most… Their pockets.

The more active clients are the more active days they earn the less they pay for their medical aid.

The results so far has been astounding with 4 times lower chronic claims since launching Active Dayz™, 74% of clients had lower cholesterol, 54% reporting weight loss and over 100 million steps taken.

By being physically active through Active Dayz™ clients earn points and ultimately cash back. Clients can choose between four ways of earning points; hitting 10 000 steps a day, burning 300 calories in a single session, going to the gym or even completing a race through Entrytime online. No matter how they move, they still score with Momentum Multiply.

Users can choose between over 100 affiliated gyms and 200 tracking devices to earn their active days.

Momentum Multiply also sells tracking devices on the Multiply Online Shop at a discounted price based on your Multiply status. Thus one more reason to become active. The more active you are, the more points you get, the better your status and the higher your rewards.
