We are a digital health start-up with a focus on the insurance industry. We have a collaboration partnership agreement with Gen Re, a leading reinsurer, to jointly develop innovative solutions for health and life insurers (October 2017). We also have very strong relationships with other direct insurers following completion of the Startupbootcamp London InsurTech Accelerator (Jan - April 2017). Our vision is to improve the lives of people by championing the use of evidence-based methods of exercise for improving health and to develop and utilise innovative technology to facilitate this process.

Founded by Ian Prangley and Michael Levens. Ian is an elite sports physiotherapist and strength and conditioning coach, having worked for the Australian Institute of Sport and helping numerous professional tennis players reach the world’s top 100, including Britain’s Kyle Edmund. Michael is an experienced technologist having managed large-scale digital transformation projects for investment banks.

We currently provide two products, TrackActive Pro for private health clinics and TrackActive Me for insurers.

TrackActive Pro is a platform for health professionals to design, deliver, support, monitor adherence, and track the outcomes of patient rehabilitation programs. The clinical knowledge, content and data (50k patients have received an exercise program) forms the foundation of TrackActive Me. TrackActive Pro is used by private allied health clinics (prominently physiotherapy clinics) across 12 countries with a major presence in the UK and Australia. A major UK-based partnership for TrackActive Pro distribution is to be announced shortly.

TrackActive Me is a self help application providing individualised and adaptable exercise programs driven by data intelligence and machine learning for a mass market of people to get healthy and stay healthy. It is built by clinical experts (strategic partnership in progress with Centre for Health and Human Performance, Harley Street, London), driven by exercise rehabilitation data, and incorporates wearable technology and behavioural science to:
• Reduce the cost of rehabilitation and claims
• Reduce the number of claims and visits to health professionals through a self-help early intervention and prevention platform
• Serve as a customer engagement tool

TrackActive Me is easily deployed and can be co-branded or white labeled for the insurer. Advanced discussions and confirmations made for pilots with re-insurers, primary insurers and a number of corporates.

We have a content licensing partnership with Janssen Pharmaceuticals (since Dec 2015) and established education & research partnership with University of Queensland (since June 2015).

We are also currently working with Sport England and the Open Data Institute to implement opportunity data in our applications and to assist in the distribution of our products (through the OpenActive Accelerator March 2018).
