Insurance has traditionally been a rather paper-based industry, with a myriad of transactions and exchanges of information, historically all carried out on paper. The industry is therefore currently in desperate for digitisation & the greater efficiency & customer convenience it can bring. The good news is that insurers are now slowly but surely “going digital” but the less good news is there’s still a long way to go and this represents a challenge; not just for insurers trying to, but for InsurTech startups to get their voices heard and solutions tested and implemented.
This is the position that Tilkee, French startup launched 4 years ago, finds itself in. Tilkee is an innovative solution for insurance and banking; proven technology already used by Generali, April International and Verspieren which enables sales and marketing teams to drive sales in a competitive landscape.
How? We alert sales and marketing teams in real-time when any kind of document is read (proposals, quotes, brochures, contracts etc.) through any channel. Not just this but we tell them who it was, how long they read it for and even the time the person spent reading each page.
At Tilkee we therefore don’t just help digitalise insurance companies’ processes but we go one step further by adding these real-time analytics to all digital documents; an immense competitive advantage in client or prospect follow-up and also an opportunity to optimise content as well as improve the customer experience.
Tilkee’s technology doesn’t however just apply to one context but multiple - tracking proposals, automatically generating and tracking quote readings, e-signature on insurance offers… The list is endless and our clients even bring new ideas to our attention that we’d never thought of!
