We are a scrappy group of obsessive people who are passionate about disrupting insurance for the benefit of dis-advantaged consumers. Our team crosses three generations, with young engineers from the award-winning SpaceKidz India and older mentors who have aged gracefully and gained tremendous experience hanging out at the cross-section of insurance and IT. Collectively we have worked together for about 2 years – across continents, into the wee hours of the night and oftentimes through sketchy skype connections. But we made it work… and are close to launching our iCover MVP.

After iterating through a series of ideas that ranged from simple crypto gift-cards to complex supply-chain apps, we came full circle and decided to leverage our domain experience to create a product that can ‘do good’ and ‘make profits’.

If you aren’t familiar with the world of insurance, the following problem statement says it all… “Slow to launch, learn and adapt stifles insurance innovation, leaves consumers unfulfilled and exposes the industry to disruption.” In addition, because delivery systems are broken, clunky and expensive, insurance companies are challenged to create products that reach the 'bottom of the pyramid' AND generate profits. We solve these problems with iCover, a radically new platform that can keep pace with the speed of innovation.

Our goal is to deliver products globally, drive down the cost of coverage and enable innovation to flourish. We will accomplish this by offering a scalable, trusted blockchain-based delivery platform that is adorned with IoT connections, iAdapt Artificial Intelligence, and effort-less risk-pooling.

In the end, starting with a simple value proposition will lead to selling currently unimagined customized products to a new generation of consumers and this will make us very very happy.
