Anorak has built the world's first fully automated insurance advice platform from user need analysis to recommending the most suitable insurance product. A beta version is available on www.anorak.life

Anorak, is a smart data company, with a vision to build the world’s smartest independent life insurance adviser. We are backed by Kamet Ventures (a €100m incubator funded by AXA). We announced a £4m super seed fund raise early January.

We’re building a smart independent insurance adviser with a mission to redefine the way millions protect their future, to put people back in control.

We’ve developed a new model for buying (life) insurance that enables people to make the right choice – not just the cheapest. To do this, we use data science and machine learning to power a service that gives everyone access to tailored advice about their life and their risks. We heavily use bank transaction data and open-banking.

Not only that, but we’re looking at how to integrate it seamlessly into people’s digital lives. For example, by partnering with existing services, like online banking and ecommerce, Anorak can come to users just the right moment, when they already have these ‘big’ things on their mind. Our platform is fully API based and designed to integrated by partners who are relevant to help their customers protect their family.

We will announce partners integration with neo-banks in the course of April as we are using open banking data to profile user, assess their risk exposure and generate highly personalised recommendations.
